Sexual & Relationship Violence Support

Student Assistance works to address the needs of students who are impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, and other forms of gender related bias through a variety of interventions, referrals, advocacy and follow-up services. Student Assistance is available to provide support to all students involved in University processes, including the University Student Conduct Process and all Title IX-related concerns, as well as providing interim relief explanations and follow up. Case Managers may act as Procedural Advisors for students involved in Title IX University Processes.

Student Assistance works closely with the Sexual and Relationship Violence Response Team, the Office of Health Promotion, and the Title IX Coordinator, to provide support, advocacy, education, and prevention regarding sexual misconduct and relationship violence. Collectively we are committed to working to end interpersonal violence and promote open discussion about sexual and relationship violence.

Please contact Student Assistance at 315-443-4357(HELP) or at studentassistance@syr.edu to for more information and to discuss support services offered.
